Planning for Roads
If this day had not been a bit of a mess, I would have tried to share a preview of some of the things that might come up tonight in City Hall between the council and our volunteer traffic advisory commission. The basic message: the roads are going to heck and the advisory committee wants the council to consider asking voters if they want to pay more. If they get more money do you spose
they could hire someone to return
phone calls? I've been trying for
over a year to get some answers for my neighbors concerning our street and have been continually left hanging( they are quite polite
about it tho)! My last attempt was to speak to Ms. Winkler personally at a meeting during the end of May or 1st part of June. She said she
would get somes answers, but I guess they are a secret. The folks in my Blockwatch were very negative about even trying as they said we would just get the run around. I tried to go through the proper channels, but I guess they were right. Nancy Copeland
