Reaction to the Wire Story
I busted up laughing when I saw this comment, posted on The Oregonian's web site, in reaction to the wire story below:

Well, good point, Ben :) Your blog has been a big part of Lakewood for awhile now. If this story got any traction outside of town, I would worry that repeated references to people in Lakewood not being used to computers would make us come off as a bunch of rubes. But I don't think we will hear any more about this story again.
